Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG

     It’s clear as soon as you see the exterior: there was no way to put any more SLK into this car. The SLK 55 AMG interprets the sporty look of the classic roadster more aggressively and uncompromisingly than ever. The AMG 5.5-litre V8 engine with 265 kW (360 hp) makes for the highest class of driving enjoyment. The SLK 55 AMG is equipped as standard with the innovative AMG SPEEDSHIFT 7G-TRONIC with steering-wheel gearshift for particularly rapid gearshifting. With it – and in combination with the AMG high-performance braking system and the AMG sports suspension – the SLK 55 AMG achieves maximum agility.

     The bodystyling complements the performance. This includes an AMG front and rear apron, as well as side skirts in a titanium grey finish and high-sheen 18-inch 4-spoke AMG light-alloy wheels, the AMG sports exhaust system with two chromed twin tailpipes, plus an AMG rear spoiler.

     Typical AMG design also awaits you in the interior – ranging from the sports seats in highest-quality nappa leather through the AMG ergonomic sports steering wheel with gearshift paddles in silver-coloured aluminium to the AMG instrument cluster including RACETIMER.

AMG Performance Studio

 

     For even more dynamic driving, there are exclusive optional extras available for the SLK 55 AMG from the AMG Performance Studio. For instance, here you can opt for multi-piece 18-inch AMG light-alloy wheels in double-spoke design, AMG performance suspension as well as AMG carbon trim elements, and the AMG performance steering wheel, with its flattened lower section and smaller rim diameter.

     For ultimate motoring enjoyment, the attractive AMG Performance Package is available; in addition to the options already mentioned, this package includes an AMG high-performance composite brake system.
